Golden Garden

Golden Gardens is a collection inspired from personal and archival flower images pulled from the NC State Library system. I developed a color pallet through texture mapping and yarn matching. I experimented with unconventional looms and materials, including crochet bases and triangular frames, to create vibrant, layered weavings. These weavings were incorporated into fashion sketches and refined digitally using Adobe Photoshop for a polished presentation. Golden Garden reflects the natural floral inspiration and gold accents woven throughout the designs.
