Performance-wear collection developed for the AATCC Multipurpose Performance competition, focusing on versatility across professional and active environments. Designed using research-driven methods, material testing, and functional design exploration. Garments incorporate durability, moisture management, and odor resistance, and were conceptually developed to transition seamlessly from work to recreational settings.

Gilded Union: Debut Collection
Nine-piece debut collection rooted in themes of identity, connection, and cultural fusion, inspired by a diverse heritage spanning Colombian, Irish American, Lebanese, and Nicaraguan influences. The work explores unity through design, blending metallic textures and ornate fabrics with softer elements like pastels, florals, and fluid silhouettes.

Swan Lake Textile Collection
Cohesive four-piece textile collection developed using technology such as NED Graphics and Adobe Photoshop. Experimented with collection inspirations, market research, and digital design exploration. Collection items were texture-mapped onto products to create a mockup room layout.
About Me
Andrea Castillo is a fashion designer and creative entrepreneur pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textile Design at NC State University’s Wilson College of Textiles. She explores apparel design, textile innovation, and visual storytelling. Through her brand Andrea Fashion, digital publications, and campus roles, Andrea brings ideas to life through original garments, styling, and creative media.
