Fashion Illustrations
For this collection, I drew inspiration from the brand Farm Rio and their vibrant use of color and nature-inspired motifs. Each illustration in my collection is rooted in my travels throughout Europe, where I was inspired by the architecture, landscapes, and cultural details I encountered. I outlined all of my sketches in pen to create a sense of structure and definition and used watercolor for my final rendered designs. The watercolor medium allowed me to experiment with soft blends and layered colors.
I chose the name “Souvenirs” for my collection because each design represents a visual memory or impression from my travels. The silhouettes in this collection focus on color and volume, inspired by fun travel wear and using vibrant color palettes that capture cities while traveling. I explored layered skirts, asymmetry, and structured sleeves to create a sense of motion and individuality in each look. I incorporated nature-inspired motifs throughout the designs, drawing from landscapes and details I observed during my travels. These elements emphasize the personal and expressive nature of the collection.
Color plays an important role in setting the tone. I used a mix of bold and soft watercolor layers to reflect both vivid and subtle moments, adding variation to each piece.
By combining pen outlines with watercolor rendering and drawing inspiration from both Farm Rio and my own travel experiences, I created a collection that feels both expressive and meaningful.
