Fashion Illustrations

For this project, I explored graphite, colored pencils, markers, watercolor, and mixed media to create a bikini model illustration. Each medium produced a distinct effect, allowing me to understand how materials influence mood, depth, and overall impact.

Graphite helped me focus on form, value, and smooth shading, while colored pencils allowed for layered warmth and detail. Markers created bold, vibrant color with immediate impact, and watercolor added a softer, more expressive quality.

My strongest results came from combining media, using markers as a base and enhancing depth with colored pencils and graphite. This experimentation strengthened my understanding of how different materials communicate and how strategic layering enhances fashion illustration.
