Recycled Fashion Show
Discarded items from various school campuses transformed into a bold two-piece corset and skirt set. By collaging colorful textures and repurposed materials, I was able to create a piece that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. This design was proudly submitted to North Carolina’s Recycled Trasion Show, highlighting my creativity and conscious design.

Golden Garden Collection
Using crochet bases and triangular frames as looms, I created vibrant, layered weavings. These pieces were then incorporated into fashion sketches and texture mapped in Adobe Photoshop. The collection reflects natural floral inspiration and gold accents woven throughout.

Swan Lake Textile Collection
Cohesive four-piece textile collection developed using technology such as NED Graphics and Adobe Photoshop. Experimented with collection inspirations, market research, and digital design exploration. Collection items were texture-mapped onto products to create a mockup room layout.
About Me
Andrea Castillo is a fashion designer and creative entrepreneur pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textile Design at NC State University’s Wilson College of Textiles. She explores apparel design, textile innovation, and visual storytelling. Through her brand Andrea Fashion, digital publications, and campus roles, Andrea brings ideas to life through original garments, styling, and creative media.
